Community Education Specialist
Ohio Hills Health Centers, a community health center providing high-quality primary medical, dental, and behavioral health care to residents in 9 eastern Ohio counties, is seeking a temporary full-time Community Education Specialist to perform outreach and education efforts to promote health center and community-based vaccination efforts. Position will work to increase confidence, demand, education, and access to COVID-19 vaccinations. In addition to education and outreach responsibilities, position will be expected to administer COVID-19 vaccination at health centers sites, mobile locations, and community-based vaccination events. Position is expected to last 6 months.
Successful candidate must be/have:
- RN or LPN with current Ohio License
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a healthcare setting
- Possess great computer and communication skills
- Ability the multi-task
- Previous experience with Covid-19 testing and vaccination preferred but not required.
